Ecoheal Virgin Coconut Oil is pure and unrefined which is extracted from fresh coconut milk by cold pressing which ensures that it maintains all the natural constituents, aroma, antioxidants and healthy fatty acids of the oil.
There are 4 different ways by which VCO can be produced
- Hot extraction process: In this process VCO is extracted from coconut milk by heating which reduces the quality of oil.
- Fermentation: In this process extracted coconut milk is allowed to stand for a day/so. The oil is then separated from water and protein by airborne Lactic acid Bacteria, under favourable conditions.
- Cold pressed: This method uses heat. The grated coconut is dried with heat and undergoes cold compression method to obtain VCO, hence this takes away many benefits of VCO.
- Cold process: Cold process method is made with the help of wet milling centrifuge. Unlike other processes mentioned above this process does not use heat one bit, which ensures maintenance of all the natural constituents, aroma and antioxidants of the oil.
Hence ecoheal VCO is made by cold process method which ensures 100 % pure and natural oil for customer usage and satisfaction.
Regular coconut oil which is made from copra, that undergoes pressing, extraction, refining, decolourisation and bleaching clearly says that all natural values are extracted even though it is suitable for consumption.
On the other hand being extracted from fresh coconut milk using cold processing VCO maintains all the natural constituents, aroma and antioxidants of the oil.
NB : At a temperature of less than 25 degree celcious , if the VCO you buy is solid, it is pure.
